Village Officials Told Today's ICE Raid Not Part Of A 'Mass Round-Up'
Federal officials told Sleepy Hollow police the action was aimed at serving immigration warrants on two people with criminal histories.

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — Police officials in Sleepy Hollow say that while they were not a part of todays's immigration enforcement action in the village, they were told by federal officials that the action would be limited in scope.
On Tuesday morning, the Sleepy Hollow Police Department was notified by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that the agency would be attempting to serve an immigration warrant on two specific individuals.
In a statement, Sleepy Hollow police officials said the agent who contacted the department did not state or imply that there would be a "mass round-up." The ICE official told the department they were in Sleepy Hollow for the two targets who each had "a criminal past."
