Water Main Break In Hartsdale Being Repaired

HARTSDALE, NY — A water main break in part of Greenburgh is being repaired.

Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said the active main break is impacting much of Hartsdale.

He said he’s spoken with the public works commissioner who said the cause has been identified.

“It’s a big break so residents may experience brown water,” Feiner said. “Leave the water running for 20 minutes or so if you experience brown water.”

A work-around has been put into place as repairs are made, getting water back to most of Hartsdale, News 12 reported.

It may be a few days before service is completely restored.
