Weekend I-87 Ramps To Saw Mill River Parkway Closures Planned
The NYSDOT said the ramp closures will take place from early Saturday to late Sunday, for maintenance work.

ELMSFORD, NY — If your weekend plans don't involve sitting in traffic, then you may want to consider an alternate route before you head out.
The Interstate 87 southbound ramp to Exit 8A (Saw Mill River Parkway northbound) and the Interstate 87 northbound ramp to Exit 7A (Saw Mill River Parkway northbound) in Elmsford will be closed on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 for ramp construction work, according to the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).
The work is scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. on Saturday and 8 p.m. on Sunday, weather permitting.

Drivers should follow the posted detour signs for alternate routes.
The NYSDOT is reminding drivers: "Lives are on the line; slow down and move over for highway workers!" Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
