what to do with Christmas trees after the holidays

Town will pick the trees up in unincorporated Greenburgh

If you live in unincorporated Greenburgh and have a Christmas tree that you want to get rid of you should place the tree in front of your home. The DPW crews will pick the trees up as soon as possible but there is no guarantees that the trees will be immediately picked up (although the DPW team tries hard to get the trees picked up quickly). All trees will be picked up by the end of January. Please remove plastic bags or tinsel from the trees left in front of your home.
REMEMBER- 2nd half of school taxes due by the end of January. Avoid late penalties if you pay your taxes late.
