Woman Alleges Christmas Present Theft
A Fremont Road resident in Sleepy Hollow told police that her Sears Carpet Cleaners may have made off with one of her Christmas gifts.
On Dec. 17 at 1:31 p.m., a woman came into Sleepy Hollow police headquarters to report that she was the victim of a theft from her carpet cleaners.
The Sears Carpet Cleaning Service had apparently left the woman's Fremont Road home on Dec. 13. She later found that one of her Christmas gifts was missing. The gift was a small box with a pair of peridot earrings inside.
