Woman Rear-Ends Trooper Car On Cuomo Bridge, Gets Arrested: Police
Police said the woman was driving drunk when she slammed into the parked trooper vehicle.

TARRYTOWN, NY — A Tuckahoe woman was accused of drunken driving after she rear-ended a state police trooper car on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge Wednesday.
The New York State Police said, around 9 p.m. Wednesday, a trooper running stationary radar on the southbound shoulder of the bridge in a marked police car was struck from behind by a car driven by Linda M. Kramer, 50, of Tuckahoe.
An investigation found the woman was intoxicated by alcohol and was place under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Police said the trooper was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Kramer was taken to the Tarrytown barracks, where she refused a chemical test. She was processed and released to a sober third party.

Kramer is due to appear in the Greenburgh Town Court Nov. 18.
Police said the trooper has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
