#67 – Take a Walking Tour of Local History

In Setauket, there's a way to combine exercise with a history lesson. For a $5 per person donation ($3 for members), the offers periodic during the warmer months.

During the tour you'll stop by the resting place of famed local artist William Sydney Mount as well as colonial-era leaders and the historic homes of early residents. Tours last a little more than an hour and start at the Setauket Neighborhood House on Main St. The historical society advises guests to arrive at least five minutes early.
