Dr. Benjamin Luft is the medical director of the WTCMMTP.

An oral history project produced by a Stony Brook University medical professor will be at the center of the CBS show 60 Minutes which will air Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.
The professor, Dr. Benjamin Luft, is the medical director of the WTC Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program at Stony Brook University Medical Center. The program treats and monitors about 6,000 9/11 responders who were exposed to toxic chemicals at Ground Zero, including firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and construction workers.
The oral history project, Remembering 9/11, documents the experiences of those responders in their own words. The episode of CBS will feature interviews with some of the responders who are being cared for in the WTC treatment program.
