Arrowhead Elementary Rolls Out Weekly Bus Awards

Every Friday, Arrowhead Elementary School comes alive with a special tradition that highlights positive behavior outside of the classroom - on the school bus. This weekly event recognizes students who go above and beyond to show respect, responsibility, and kindness during their bus rides.

The program is a collaborative effort between the school and its dedicated bus drivers, who play a vital role in ensuring not only the safety of students but also fostering a positive environment during transportation. Throughout the week, drivers keep an eye out for students who exhibit outstanding behavior. Drivers then nominate their standout students for a Bus Award. On Fridays, the selected students are invited to the school office where they are celebrated for their efforts. Each award winner receives a prize as a token of appreciation, along with a big round of applause from school staff.
