Crime Report: Police Arrest Man on Bench Warrant in East Setauket
The Suffolk County Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between July 2 and July 8.

• A 31-year-old man from Brentwood was arrested July 8 in Setauket on a bench warrant for a parole violation. A police spokesperson said a patrol officer arrested him on Gnarled Hollow Road at 1:35 p.m. According to online court records, the man is facing charges of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, for an April 30 incident.
• A female employee at Walmart in East Setauket reported that her cellphone, cash, credit cards and driver's license were stolen from the employees' break room at around 1:40 p.m. on July 2.
