A sign in the window of Long Island Strength and Conditioning announces the gym will be relocating to a space on Technology Drive.
The gym, which opened in late 2011, will close at 8 p.m. on July 3 and will re-open on July 6, according to the sign. Its new location is 12-7 Technology Drive, off of N. Belle Meade Road.
A staff member at the gym declined to comment on the move on Wednesday.
The relocation of Long Island Strength and Conditioning means two gyms departed back-to-back from the location at 209 Main Street in East Setauket. On the Go Fitness closed in mid-2011.
The area along N. Belle Meade Road is already home to a handful of gyms, including Steel Fitmess, Port CrossFit and Powerhouse Gym.
