For this edition of Five at Five, Patch stopped by in Setauket this week to find out what people are reading. We asked the question "What's your favorite book?" Here's what they had to say.
Wendy Tang, Stony Brook: "A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly. It's a really clever plot about a girl who loves words and writing. Each day she picks a word from the dictionary and relates it to the issues she's facing. It was about how she struggled and achieved her dream, so I find it very inspiring."
Mike Schmit, Port Jefferson: "The DaVinci Code. It's a mix of history and fiction."

Nicholas Failla, Setauket: "James Patterson. Most of his books. I just like his cop stories. The way he tells them. It keeps me interested."
Aurelie Miller, Stony Brook: "I'd say it's probably Mornings on Horseback by David McCullough. Theodore Roosevelt is one of my heroes and this was a wonderful biographical work. It gave me more insight into his values."

Kristina Skaggs, Port Jefferson (on her 16-month-old son Jamie's favorite book): "He loves Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. I think it's the colors, the shapes, things that stand out. And the wording that she used is very intimate."
