July 25: Enjoy Magic and Comedy at the Library
Jim McClenahan will perform two shows for family audiences.

The Stony Brook Film Festival is in full swing – and so is New York State's new marriage equality law, which took effect Sunday. Updates from both of those developments are on the way.
1. Jim McClenahan, , will entertain audiences in two shows at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library on Monday: 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. "It's great for family audiences," McClenahan says. "There's something in it for everybody." Watch for some slapstick comedy combined with magic – and don't forget to raise your hand when he calls for audience volunteers.
2. The documentary will screen Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Stony Brook Film Festival. Single tickets are sold out but keep in mind a limited number of standby seats may be available; check out this , or read an interview with the filmmaker, .
