July 26: Learning About Local History

On Tuesday, take part in local history at the library or local temple, or be a part of film history by attending the Stony Brook Film Festival.

1. Join the Three Village Historical Society's at the library at 10 a.m., or take in a talk on at Temple Isaiah at 7:30 p.m.

2. Tuesday's offerings at the Stony Brook Film Festival include at 7 p.m. and at 9:15 p.m. for a film-by-film breakdown of the festival's films.

3. Speaking of the film festival, check back later for a special look at one of Mondays' films, Kings Park: Stories from an American Mental Institution.

4. Tuesdays in Bellport are the place to be if you're a teenager, with the Town of Brookhaven's Safe Summer program in full swing. Click here for details on this recreational event for teens.
