Looking Back: Remembering 9/11 in Three Village

Over the last couple of years, here are the ways in which locals honored the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

A lot changed on Sept. 11, 2001, and a lot has changed since then, too. Each year, the Three Village community comes together to honor those who were lost and to celebrate the nation's unity. Here's a look back at our coverage of Sept. 11 over the past two years.

Memorable Moments

In 2010, Rev. Gregory Leonard delivered that we captured and set to a slideshow of images from the memorial ceremony. In July of 2011, , produced by a Stony Brook faculty member, premiered at the Stony Brook Film Festival. Later that summer, we introduced you to , who rode in America's 9/11 Ride, and when the tenth anniversary came, Patch was on hand to .
