New Website Expedites Lending Of Medical Equipment in Three Villages
Includes contact information of volunteers and answers to FAQs

Three Village Lending Aids, non-profit organization dedicated to lending out medical equipment, has launched a website that makes it easier for residents of Stony Brook, Setauket, Old Field, and Poquott to borrow wheelchairs, rollators, walkers, knee scooters, bath seats, commodes, crutches, canes, ramps and bed rails.The website https://3vlendingaids.org/ includes contact information of volunteers who lend the equipment and answers to frequently asked questions. Also included is a listing of additional lending centers in Brookhaven and surrounding areas. Residents can also donate medical equipment that is in 'like new or very good' condition, donate money or become a volunteer. Additional information is available by calling (631) 751-0500.Located at 1 Knoll Top Rd, just off Main Street between the Jazz Loft and the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, the Three Village Society for Lending Aids to the Sick, Inc. was formed by a group of doctors and concerned local residents in 1971 for the purpose of lending sick room aids, equipment and articles of comfort to the residents of the Three Village School District. This work is carried on by a group of volunteers.
