Patch Question: How Do You Feel About School Starting Sept. 6?

Let's just blame forces beyond the school district's control that last week caused the district to move the first day of school from Sept. 1 to Sept. 6.

Some in the community have already expressed via social media websites they feel the district should have started school on Sept. 6 to begin with, rather than Sept. 1.

As of Friday, Sept. 2, a school district administrator said the calendar committee had yet to meet to determine the ramifications of this move on the rest of the school year.
