Setauket Athlete Helps Power National U-18 Women's Hockey Team

Dana Trivigno plays for the national women's under-18 hockey team.

The U.S. women's under-18 hockey team has defeated Russia and Sweden in the preliminary round of the IIHF Under-18 World Championships, and in each of those games, Dana Trivigno of Setauket has played a part in the team's success.

Trivigno, 17, scored a goal against Russia in an 8-0 win on Dec. 31, and scored again in her team's 7-0 win over Sweden on Jan. 1. She is one of three Team U.S.A. players to log six points in the tournament so far.
