The Week Ahead: Fire District Meeting, College Workshop, Comedy Night

Looking ahead to this week's events, it looks to be an informative week in our community. Check out these events and more in our event calendar.

1. The Setauket Fire District's building committee will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. at 26 Hulse Road in East Setauket to discuss different ideas, needs and desires for the construction or renovation of the firehouse at 190 Main Street.

2. On Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., the Town of Brookhaven will host a "Job Search Boot Camp" seminar at town hall.

3. Also on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at 12 Research Way in East Setauket, Nancy Burner & Associates will present a workshop on "10 Ways to Fund a College Education Without Giving Up Your Retirement."

4. The Three Village Kiwanis Club will hold its regular meeting at Mario's on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

5. On Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., the Ward Melville Players will present a night of comedy at the high school's LGI theater.
