Things to Do in Three Village: #23 – Learn French at the Neighborhood House

An expert in French language who is a Sorbonne literary award-winner has launched a series of language lessons at the Setauket Neighborhood House.

Tatiana Tchoubar, who recently moved to Long Island from France, teaches a beginner session at 7:30 p.m. and an advanced session at 6:30 p.m. An intermediate class will be established in June.

Classes focus on conversational French, with a recommended textbook, online videos and interactive activities. Class activities include reading French fiction, magazines and journals and watching French films and online news.
