- Long Island's major roads will be repaved this spring and summer. An investment of $157 million is approved, and Gov. Kathy Hochul confirmed the repave plan on Tuesday. Major work on Long Island Expressway is expected to start this week. (Pix11)
- Nearby News: Two males broke into a home in Mastic Beach and sexually assaulted a resident before fleeing the scene. The crime happened on Tuesday afternoon; police are asking for the public's help to identify and arrest the two individuals. The woman, whose identification hadn't been released, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (Patch)
