  1. Local History: Meet William Bacon, an immigrant from the Midlands of England who arrived in New York in 1794. Three Village Historical Society historian Beverly C. Tyler tells us about his journey and importance in the Three Village area. (TBR News Media)
  2. Margo Arceri will guide cyclists on Saturday, July 16, on the Tri-Spy- Tour! Participants will go into a detailed explanation of historical facts in the area and see the sites where the British and patriots made history. Tours are $25 per person. (TVHS)
  3. Terryville Fire Department responded to a house fire call on Sunday night where resident Catherine Davis, 83, died. The blaze happened on 58 Superior St. in Terryville. Catherine's husband, John Davis, 76, was critically injured. (Port Jefferson Patch)
