1. Registration will open on Sept. 1 for those interested in participating in the Three Village Meet the Candidates event that will be held on Oct. 19. Candidates running in the elections in November will be at the Holiday Inn in Stony Brook to meet the community. (TV CofC)
2. The music will be loud at the Three Village Farmers Market on Friday, Sept. 9. The Long Island-based singer, Denise Romas, will be performing on the grounds of the Three Village Society from 4 to 6 p.m. (Three Village Farmers Market)
3. For those who love yoga and want to stay tuned with nature, The Bates House Program is hosting free yoga sessions at the Frank Melville Memorial Park in Setauket. All classes are based on donations and are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (Frank Melville Park)
