- Benner's Farms will have a Mommy and Me class on Wednesday, June 1 at 9:45 a.m. Little ones will enjoy a fun class and some farm fun! Benner's Farm is located at 56 Gnarled Hollow Rd, Setauket. (Hisawyer)
- New Kit Alert at Emma Clark S. Library. No registration is required to pick up the "Knit, Crochet, and Chat" kit and start working on the project while having fun conversations with friends. The materials will be available on June 3 from 2-4 p.m. (ECML)
- Nearby News: LIRR Train users pointed out the lack of seating at the Port Jefferson Train Station. During an interview with TBR News Media, a resident said that elderly or disabled passengers don't have a place to sit during rush hour while waiting for the train. A new bench was recently installed outside the ticketing area, but the community hopes that a better layout will be arranged in the future. (tbrnewsmedia)
- Suffolk Plaza shopping center in Setauket will be put into good use with the Five Below Grand opening on July 1. The center is located at 4054 Nesconset Highway and has been empty for the last six years since Waldbaum's grocery store closed down. (Greater Long Island)
