- The plan to improve the East Setauket Pond Park is moving forward. After delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, residents are finally seeing the work near and in the pond on Route 25A back in action. The goal is to clean the water in the pond by dredging the pond for sediment and the repair of a failing bulkhead. (TBR News Media)
- Three Village Chamber of Commerce members participated in the grand opening of “Mondays at Racine” at Gypsy Hair Lounge in the Three Village Shopping Center located at 1389 Route 25A in Setauket. The opening ceremony was held on March 28 and the salon supports customers who are experiencing side effects of cancer treatments to make them confident by taking care of their appearance. - Emma Clark Memorial Library invites all "bookworms" in the community to an evening book discussion on April 13 at 7:30 p.m. The book on the topic will be a memoir by Tara Westover who is an American author who currently lives in the UK. No registration is required. (ESCML)
- Deepwell Mansion features an art exhibit to celebrate the 125 years of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. The exhibit will be on display until April 30 and showcase 45 works of art from 41 local artists and a small collection of oil and pastel pieces. The gallery is located at 2 Taylor Lane in St. James. - Nearby News: Police are seeking the public's help to find a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Coram, resulting in the death of a bicyclist who was traveling eastbound on Middle Country Road.
