1. Volunteers are needed to discuss the Nighthawk's migration at the Frank Melville Memorial Park stone bridge. The Four Harbors Audubon Society will host the meetings by the bridge until Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m. Please visit www.4has.org for details. (TBR News Media)
2. Emma Clark Library invites the Community to participate in a series of free events in celebration of the Celebrate the “Setauket Spies.” Check the schedule of events here. (Emma Clark Library)
3. The Greater Port Jefferson Arts Council announces the "Fiddle & Folk" Festival. The event will be held at the historic Benner's Farm in Setauket on Sept. 11. from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. (GPJAC)
4. Town of Brookhaven is now participating in the New York State Paint Stewardship Program. Town Supervisor, Ed Romaine, announced it after a visit to the Town of Brookhaven Landfill. The program promotes the proper disposal of paints that can harm the environment. (TBR News Media)
