1. A Stony Brook University alum was identified as one of the victims of a Texas shooting. Amber Tsai, a Master's arts graduate from SBU, was shot along with a friend at a Haltom City residence on Saturday. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
2. Suffolk Marine Bureau officers had an extra busy holiday weekend. In two separate incidents, three paddleboarders and two kayakers were rescued from Ocean Beach and Fort Salonga waters. (Greater Long Island)
3. Billy Williams from Setauket is making a difference in the Three Village Community. Williams gifted the Three Village Dads foundation a $10,000 grant for the State Farm community engagement program. (TBR News Media)
