  1. Attention actors/actresses in the Three Village and Port Jefferson community, the Charles Dickens Festival is casting! All ages are welcome to join one of the most significant costume events in New York hosted at our Village. Costumes will be provided. The rehearsal for new participants will be held on Sept. 1 at the Village Center. For details, access here. (Patch)
  2. Bring the kids to dance at the Red Barn in the Frank Melville Memorial Park. The concert is free on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. (Patch)
  3. Stony Brook University requests the community's help to donate to its food pantry. A community service day is being hosted this weekend. Donations will benefit the Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank and the University's pantry. A virtual food drive is also available for those who want to donate but can't attend the events in person.
