- Emma S. Clark Memorial Library will host a "Summer Reading KICK-OFF" party on the library's front lawn! No registration is required to enjoy face painting, games, carnival, and more on Monday, June 27 at 4 p.m. (ESCML)
- Summer Concerts on the Village Green are finally back! From July 10 to August 21, performers will hit the stage on the front lawn of the Post office building in the Village of Stony Brook. (Village of Stony Brook)
- A Mastic Beach couple was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on Titmus Avenue on June 24. Danielle and Justino Lopez were airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital with severe but no life-threatening injuries. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752. (Long Island.com)
- Port Jeff Brewing Concert Series will keep our summer "Hump Day" evenings filled with good entertainment. The Jellyband will take on stage at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at 22 Mill Creek Road in Port Jefferson. (Port Jefferson CofC)

- Three Village School District celebrated the send-off of graduating students/athletes that will keep playing in college. Thirty-eight graduates were recognized for representing Ward Melville High School in all sports categories and competitions. (Greater Long Island)
- A special anniversary will be held at the Staller Center for the Arts on June 29. WUSB Radio (90.1 FM and 107.3 FM) will host a concert to celebrate the radio station's 45th anniversary. National artists will join the special event that starts at 8 p.m. (Patch)
