1. U.S military and their families can celebrate free admissions in museums this summer! The announcement came through the Three Village Historical Society, which joined the nationwide Blue Star Museum Initiative. For more information, call 631-751-3730 or visit www.tvhs.org. (tbrnewsmedia)
2. Suffolk Plaza shopping center in Setauket will be put into good use with the Five Below Grand opening on July 1. The center is located at 4054 Nesconset Highway and has been empty for the last six years since Waldbaum's grocery store closed down. (Greater Long Island)
3. Congratulations to Patrick M. Lloyd for being nominated as the Dean of the School of Dental Medicine (SDM) at Stony Brook University. According to Hal Paz, MD, Lloyd will start his new post on July 1, executive vice president of health sciences at Stony Brook University. (TBR News Media)
