The Three Village Historical Society will host a United States Flag Retirement Ceremony with a special guest, the director of the "Anna Smith Strong Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution," to guide the event in an interactive family-friendly way. The event celebrates Flag Day on June 14 at 5 p.m. (TVHS)
2. The vibrant Jazz Loft Big Band will play the blues on June 2 at 7 p.m. Jazz Loft founder Tom Manuel will perform with the 17-member band featuring lyrics and arrangements created by the band's members. (Patch)
   
3. Play to win but enjoy the fun on Game Day at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library on Friday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your crowd and your favorite games. No registration is required. (ECML)
4. The New York Blood Center released an update about the decline in blood donations in the last two months. The shortage is still around even with blood drives in schools and community events slowly coming back.
