- The Next Three Village Historical Society Lecture Series is set for Monday, July 18 at 7 p.m. For those who are interested in history, the next theme is "The Drafting of a Radical Idea – The Declaration of Independence." (TVHS)
- Emma Clark Library invites all to be artsy on Tuesday, July 5. Seashell Lighthouse Painting starts at 3 p.m. Registration is required to participate. (Emma Clark Library)
- The Comsewogue Public Library Gallery invites the community for an artist reception on July 14 at 7:30 p.m. "All the Beautiful Things" exhibit is curated by V. Gay Gatta and will be displayed outside the Community Room. (CP Library)
- Business owners in New York have a lot to think about this summer. The state Legislature has passed a law that establishments will decide if armed customers are welcome inside the stores. A sign must be placed in the window if the business allows it. The new law was signed by governor Kathy Hochul and will be affected on Sept. 1. (News12)
