  1. Stony Brook Village’s Spring Appreciation Day is set for April 23! The event features live music, a scavenger hunt, raffles, and a petting Zoo. The event is free to the public. The rain date is scheduled for April 24. (NYMP)
  2. Emma S. Clark Memorial Library will host six hours of AARP Smart Driver Course on Thursday, April 21, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A fee of $30 must be paid before class. Attendees will receive a reduction of up to six points on their Driver's license with the course completion.

  3. Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce hosts the second annual Daffodil Dash. The event features a virtual 5k and 10k, starting now until the end of April.   4. A senior citizen died after suffering a medical emergency while driving in the parking lot of King Kullen on Sunrise Highway. The 77-year-old man crashed into a signpost in the shopping center area located in Patchogue. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the Long Island Community Hospital. (Patch)
