- West Meadow Beach is closed for swimming because bacteria found in the water can cause gastrointestinal issues and infections in the eye and throat. Suffolk Healthy Department announced the closure would last until tests show the level of the bacteria decreases and become unharmful. If you would like more information, contact the Bathing Beach Hotline at 852-5822. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- Get fancy at the "Look Book Luncheon" at the Three Village Inn on June 9. The event will be hosted to celebrate the Mint Clothing Boutique's first private line of designs.
