Students performed a song and dance for their families before they circled through different hands-on activities in the gymnasium. They created clay pots, grinded and planted corn, practiced weaving, went “fishing” and listened to stories in a teepee. Each activity focused on an important aspect of Native American life and engaged students in hands-on learning.
