The Three Village School District’s Athletic Department recently celebrated the unveiling of State Championship banners for Competitive Cheer, Game Day Cheer, and the Individual Track 1600 Meter award, won by Jonathan Seyfert.

Families and friends gathered to honor these outstanding accomplishments. During the event, Kevin Finnerty, Executive Director of Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Athletics, shared a few words to mark the occasion.

“We are very proud of our athletes and recognize how hard you all work and the effort you put in,” said Finnerty. “These banners will hang in the Ward Melville gym for eternity, and I hope you’ll come back in the future to show them off to your friends and families.”
