You know it's almost summer when the Discovery Cruise fires up its engines and the Three Village Historical Society starts holding its regular historical walking tours once again. Check out these weekend ideas and more in our event calendar.

- The Discovery Cruise through Stony Brook Harbor is back in season starting May 17.
- "The Delight of Movement" is on display at Gallery North through May 31. Click here for a preview of the show.
- The Long Island Museum's recently renovated carriage gallery, "Carriages for Sport and Pleasure," is now open. Click here for more information.
- Catch "Home with Dick van Dyke" at the Ward Melville Heritage Organization's Educational & Cultural Center. Showtimes include a Sunday afternoon performance at 12:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
- The Three Village Historical Society will offer a walking tour starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the dock on Shore Road in Setauket – a walk held at low tide so that the bones of the schooners will be uncovered in Scott's Cove.
- Benner's Farm is hosting a "Colonial Days Weekend" on Saturday, featuring stories and seed plantings. Call the farm at 631-689-8172 for more information.
- Join the "LEGO Club" on Friday at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library, for kids ages 5 through 10.
- Each Saturday at the library, you'll find two sessions of a parent/toddler workshop, one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11 a.m., for ages 18 months to 3-1/2 years.
