- Arrowhead Elementary School's "Milk and Cookies" book fair is set for Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
- Emma S. Clark Memorial Library will be showing "Wreck It Ralph" at 6 p.m. in a free family movie event.

- An educational event at the library will be held Saturday for kids in two age groups, 4-5 years old (1 p.m.) and 6-7 years old (2 p.m.), called "I Am The Boss Of My Body."

- A St. Baldrick's fundraiser will be held Friday night at Ward Melville High School from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Fine Arts & Exhibits
- Gallery North's latest show, features three artists who are members of the art department at Stony Brook University.
- The Long Island Museum re-opened on March 1 – head on over to see the new artwork on display, "Colors of Long Island," as well as "Country Scenes for City Patrons – Works by W.S. Mount."
- The Ward Melville Heritage Organization exhibit "Workmanship Through the Ages" runs through April 7 at the Educational & Cultural Center and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Music & Entertainment
- The Staller Center presents Randall Scarlata and Gilbert Kalish in concert on Friday at 8 p.m.
- The Staller Center also presents "Dance Brazil" at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
