Weekend Guide: Wellness Expo, 5K Run/Walk, Zumba-thon & More

Benefit
- The Ward Melville SHARP Club is hosting a Zumba-thon at 6 p.m. Friday at the high school ($15 per person) to raise money for Autism awareness and study.
- The annual Contractors for Kids 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Expo will take place starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Murphy Junior High.
- "Eat Dirt You Worm!" is an educational program all about worms and composting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Benner's Farm.
- Lego Club is set for Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library.
- The Long Island Storytelling Network comes to Emma S. Clark Memorial Library at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
- Check out world-renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter at the Staller Center on Saturday at 8 p.m. ($38).
- The Staller Center will also host two films on Friday night: Hyde Park on the Hudson at 7 p.m., Django Unchained at 9 p.m. Tickets are $9 ($7 for seniors).
- Fans of Shakespeare can find a production of Hamlet in its final weekend at the Staller Center as well, showing Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. ($20).
- Come see "Elementary" at Gallery North, featuring the works of three distinguished faculty members from Stony Brook University.
- The Long Island Museum is open for regular museum hours and features the show "Colors of Long Island" as well as exhibits on W.S. Mount and the Baker/Pisano Collection.
