WMHS Key Club Welcomes Community Members to 'Other' Senior Prom
Senior citizens were treated to a special event on Saturday afternoon.
More than 200 local senior citizens were guests on Saturday at the annual Key Club Senior Citizens' Prom, now in its 21st year, at Ward Melville High School. Students and seniors mingled with one another and danced to timeless songs provided by the WMHS Jazz Band II and In the Mood DJ Productions. "For all who were in attendance, it was apparent that everyone was having a great time. ... As the advisor of the Key Club, I was tremendously proud of how the students were able to organize, decorate, and carry off such a flawless event for so many important members of our community," teacher Allison Kane said in an email to Patch.
