Ivana Trump's UES Townhouse Goes Up For Sale: See Inside

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — After Ivana Trump was found dead in July at age 73, her relatives converged on her Lenox Hill home, where she had lived since 1992 and had raised her three children with ex-President Donald Trump.

Now, that same five-story home has been listed for sale, as brokers demand $26.5 million for the townhouse at 10 East 64th St., between Fifth and Madison avenues.

Ivana Trump was discovered near a staircase in her home on the afternoon of July 14. Authorities later determined her death had been accidental, the result of blunt force trauma from a fall.

Her children, Ivanka, Eric and Donald, Jr., will get the proceeds from the sale of the home, where they spent their teenage years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Formerly home to a dentist's office, the townhouse had been unoccupied for 12 years until it was purchased by Ivana in 1992, the same year her divorce with Donald Trump was finalized.

Ivana, a former model who later established herself as a fashion designer and an executive in her husband's real estate company, set about redesigning the townhouse in her "luxurious" and "whimsical" style, the Wall Street Journal reported.

"She was so comfortable there," her son Eric Trump told the Journal. "It was the last possession in the world she would ever have gotten rid of."

The home, built in 1879, includes a "regal, formal gallery" in the entryway, with gilded paneling beneath a large crystal chandelier, according to the listing by Douglas Elliman.

A curved staircase leads to the second floor, an "entertainment level" featuring four chandeliers dangling from 10-foot-high ceilings, a gold-embossed marble fireplace and a "Versailles-inspired dining room" overlooking an interior courtyard.

The third floor includes the home's main bedroom, with three more bedrooms on the fourth floor. Other amenities include a media room with an adjacent kitchen and office, a garden, and a "huge basement" that includes a sauna, the listing says. (The home lacks any full-sized kitchens, as Trump did little cooking in recent years, according to the Wall Street Journal.)

Originally from Czechoslovakia, Ivana was pursuing a modeling career in New York when she met Donald Trump in 1976, marrying him the following year. They spent more than a decade as one of the city's top power couples before their divorce.

She was buried at Donald Trump's golf club in Bedminster, N.J., following a July 20 funeral at St. Vincent Ferrer Church on Lexington Avenue and East 66th Street.
