UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A pair of landmarked Upper East Side mansions have been purchased together by an art collector and heir to a paper fortune.

The two townhouses were built between 1929 and 1931 by architects Delano & Aldrich, part of an addition to an existing mansion at 75 East 93rd St., on the corner of Park Avenue. Financier George F. Baker, Jr. bought the mansion in 1926 and funded the expansions.
