Man Attacked In UES Subway Station: NYPD

The MTA said trains were running with delays as the police conducted an investigation at the 86th Street 4/5/6 station.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was attacked inside the 86th Street subway station Monday afternoon, according to officials.

The man was assaulted inside the busy express stop on Lexington Avenue just before rush hour at 4:30 p.m., police said.

NYPD officials could not confirm the nature of the assault, injuries, where in the station it happened or if any arrests have been made.
