UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man stabbed another man in the neck on an Upper East Side train during the evening commute, according to police.

A 37-year-old man was riding a downtown 4 train entering the 86th Street station when he and another man got into an argument, police said.

The man then stabbed the 37-year-old once in the neck, leaving a trail of blood all over the 86th Street station, according to police and reports.

First responders brought the victim to New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center in sable conditions, officials said.

At the scene, police took a suspect into custody, but a spokesperson could not confirm if charges have been filed yet. According to the New York Post, a knife was also recovered at the scene.
