'Real Housewives' Star Lists Upper East Side Home: Reports

Ramona Singer of "Real Housewives of New York City" is selling her East 80th Street home.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A "Real Housewives of New York" star is putting her Upper East Side home on the market for nearly $5 million, according to reports and real estate listings.

Ramona Singer's East 80th Street apartment was recently listed with Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Singer has decided to sell her apartment because her 23-year-old daughter is moving out, according to a Bravo blog post.

"It's just, I'm going to be walking around that whole wing where she used to be, and I need a fresh start," Singer told Bravo, the network that produces the "Real Housewives" shows. "I'm an empty nester, and I think it just makes sense to move to a smaller place. I'm traveling so much more, and I still have the place in the Hamptons."

Singer's 16th-floor apartment is located in The Richmond condominium building at 201 E. 80th St. between Second and Third avenues. The 2,468-square-foot unit contains five bedrooms, three bathrooms and one half bathroom, according to real estate listings.

Some luxury features of the newly-renovated home include floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic city views, a chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an integrated audio system throughout the home. Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a live-in resident manager and a landscaped rook deck.

Singer and ex-husband Mario Singer have owned the home since at least 2005, according to public real estate records. The property's deed was turned over to Singer from her ex in 2015, according to public records.

The "Real Housewives" star plans to stay in the city but to rent instead of buy a new home, she told Bravo.

"It makes no sense for me to start looking. It's a little too overwhelming for me to do everything at once," Singer told the network. "You know, part of me wants to stay in the Upper East Side, like in the 60s, because I like being near Central Park, and a lot of my girlfriends live in that area."
