Second Person In One Day Jumps In Front Of UES Train, Dies: NYPD
After one man killed himself on East 86th Street, another did the same Monday evening on East 63rd Street, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — In a tragic repeat of a nightmare hours earlier, a second man ended his own life on the Upper East Side by jumping in front of a train Monday evening, police said.
At about 6:40 p.m., a 42-year-old man was seen jumping to the uptown-bound tracks as a Q train entered the Lexington Avenue - 63rd Street station, officials said.
The man was declared dead at the scene by first responders, officials said.

Monday was marred by two other tragic train suicides, one of which was also on the Upper East Side
Earlier Monday morning, a 47-year-old man jumped in front of a downtown 6 train at the East 86th Street station at about 8 a.m., according to police.

And across town, a 22-year-old man killed himself after jumping in front of a downtown 2 train at the West 72nd Street station at about 10 a.m., police said.
