16-Year-Old Vanishes On Upper West Side: NYPD
The teenager was last seen leaving his Upper West Side apartment on May 5.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side teenager has been missing for weeks, New York City Police Department officials said Wednesday.
According to the NYPD, 16-year-old Andrew Ahtay was last seen leaving his apartment on West 64th Street near Amsterdam Avenue on Monday, May 5, at 7:10 a.m.
Police described Ahtay as a boy with a thin build, medium complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

This is not the first time the child has been reported missing. He went missing in January 2020, when he was 10 years old.
Police said anyone with information regarding Ahtay's whereabouts can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
