2-Alarm Fire Blazes On Roof Of Upper West Side Apartment, FDNY Says
Two firefighters were injured during the battle.

UPPE WEST SIDE, NY — Two firefighters were injured while battling a two-alarm fire at an apartment building on the Upper West Side Monday afternoon, New York City Fire Department officials said.
According to the FDNY, the fire started at 4 p.m. on the roof of 28 West 74th St., which is between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.
A dark cloud of black smoke can be seen billowing over the area in photos posted to social media.

Fire officials said the fire was brought down at 5:21 p.m. Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
The FDNY has not released the condition of the firefighters as of 6 p.m.
