2 Teenagers Slashed In Upper West Side McDonald's, Arrest Made: NYPD
A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were slashed Tuesday morning within the McDonald's at West 71st Street and Broadway, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A person was arrested for assault after two teenage boys were slashed in an Upper West Side McDonald's on Tuesday morning, police said.
NYPD officers responded to the fast-food joint at West 71st Street and Broadway just after 8:20 a.m. to find a 14-year-old with a stab wound to his back and a slash above his eye, and a 16-year-old with a cut to his left hand, police said.
Emergency services took the two teens to Cornell Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Later on Tuesday, Jovani Bowen, 24, was arrested in connection to the attack and charged with assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.
NYPD did not say what instigated the slashings.
