Four people were found dead in a Bronx apartment in a possible murder suicide Wednesday morning, police said.
Officers found the bodies of two men and two women inside a fifth-floor apartment at the Castle Hill Houses complex around 9:45 a.m.

7 Firefighters Injured In Bronx Explosion: Authorities
Seven firefighters were injured in a dramatic explosion Wednesday evening in The Bronx, according to authorities.

The incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in the 900 block of Westchester Avenue, authorities said. Firefighters arrived to find vehicles and trash piles ablaze, and while they were at the scene, the explosion took place, according to the fire department.

Multiple Subway Lines Resume Service After Person Struck By Train
Multiple subway lines have resumed service after a person was struck by a train in Manhattan, according to the MTA.
No. 5 and 6 trains had been running with delays in both directions. They had been temporarily suspended between 49 St-Grand Concourse and 86 St in both directions. Both lines have since resumed regular stops.

FDNY Commissioner Announces Resignation Day After Election
FDNY commissioner Robert Tucker has announced he will resign from his position in December.
Tucker announced his decision less than 24 hours after the New York City general election on Tuesday. The FDNY commissioner's last day will be Dec. 19. An interim acting fire commissioner will take over after Tucker resigns.
